  I was expecting for the pizza to be amazing since the reviews seemed great. However, I was disappointed the pizza just tasted burnt. The wine selection is horrible and over priced. I can say the best thing I had there was the garlic cheese bread. There is a lot of other pizza places around that are much more reasonably priced and taste considerably better.

  The pizza was so thin it was like paper. There was hardly any sauce. The flavor was good but for 16 you get this small measley pizza with nothing on it. It's a ripoff.

  Have been going to Bavaro's for about a year, and love it. (Grew up in New Jersey with authentic Italian food around the corner all of the time and have made/eaten authentic Italian food myself many times). I placed orders to go more often than not and have also dined in, and the food always tasted wonderful whether eating out or in. The servers, pizza, AND pasta are exceptional, and it tastes better than Neapolitan Pizza that I ate in New York City this summer, which didn't even compare. Sure, I haven't been to Italy yet, so I can't compare it to the experience of eating food in the motherland, but it's definitely more upscale and affordable than the chain restaurants in town or than your average pizza chain, and growing up next to NYC and eating there often, I only eat the best pizza and am very picky! I can say with full confidence that this is one of the best Italian restaurants out there and I always heartily recommend them to my friends and colleagues. Also, the founder studied and trained how to make this pizza in Italy.
